Professional Experience

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of MO. My training is in Clinical Social Work, and I hold both my undergraduate and Master’s degrees from The Florida State University. The majority of my work has been with children and families from diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. I specialize in working with those who have experienced trauma, especially those who have spent time involved with the child welfare system. I have been practicing psychotherapy for 4 years.

Trauma-Informed Approaches

In the clinical setting, I employ a wide array of evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches when working with clients. Some of the modalities I draw from most often include Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Attachment-Focused Family Therapy, Trust-Based Relational Intervention, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
